Central Kentucky Community Action Council (CKCAC), Inc. Head Start has been a part of my family for many years. My mother devoted a career to Head Start and instilled within me her passion for education and helping support those in need. It is my honor to be able to carry on this tradition as the Director for Central Kentucky Head Start. Central Kentucky Head Start’s vision is to teach, to lead, and to serve. My promise to you as Director is that we will work to embody this vision in all we do.
Head Start provides the highest quality preschool education you will find. We are a data-driven program that consistently seeks to improve the services we provide to our children and families. Our families have access to wraparound services, including transportation to medical appointments, food banks, utility bill support, employment opportunities, and more! In some cases, you can drop your child off for preschool and walk next door to other services you may need. Lastly, I would like to encourage you to get involved with Central Kentucky Head Start. As a parent, please serve on a committee or our Policy Council. As a community member, please offer to serve on the CKCAC Board of Directors or offer your support to our centers. We all know that it takes a village to raise the next generation.
